Average people get average grades in school, receive average or satisfactory performance reviews at work, do just enough to get by, follow the crowd, live day by day, don’t have a defined plan for the future or for their success, and when they end up desperate, destitute and hopeless, they wonder why? Don’t be average! Be “Allergic to Average” and be great!
How do you avoid being average? Here are somethings you can do:
1.) Have a detailed plan for your future. Know what you want and create a road map with SMART (Specific, Measureable, Attainable, Realistic and Time Bound) goals to get it.
2.) Work the plan and make success a habit. Create a daily routine based on the plan to get you from where you are to where you want to be in life.
3.) Don’t quit when things go wrong or get tough. Make adjustments if necessary, but don’t give up. Perseverance is the key to success. Remember, hard work pays off!
4.) Once you’ve achieved your goals, give back and help someone achieve theirs.
